Sometimes, a name carries the weight of an entire season.
Zilvi did.
It held twelve years of dreaming, creating, growing and becoming. It witnessed moments that shaped me in ways I'll always carry. It leaves behind a legacy woven into who I am.
But seasons are not meant to last forever.
Somewhere along the way, I realised the name no longer belonged to the life I was growing into. It belonged to another version of me - one I honour deeply, but no longer need to hold onto.
So, I'm turning the page.
In this season, I'm returning to creativity in new ways through painting, pottery and writing. I'm allowing myself to begin again - to learn slowly, create freely and fall in love with the process as much as the outcome.
My hope is that, in time, what grows from this season will once again find its way into your hands and your homes, just as my Zilvi art once did.
So, what happens to the name, Zilvi and my designs?
The truth is, I could have sold them and watched Zilvi become a strangers story.
But that never felt like the right ending.
Instead, I've chosen to gift the name and my designs. I've placed them in the hands of another mother - a woman whose path has echoed my own in many ways and who is walking a new season of renewal and rebuilding just as I have.
It feels fitting that a name which carried me through one season might now carry another woman through hers.
To me, that means far more than simply selling the brand.
It's a quiet passing of the torch. A legacy continued - not by me, but by someone who understands how much heart has always lived inside that name.
I'm ready to show up as the woman I have become.
The way I create is changing.
Welcome to 'Via June'
Via meaning through - through life's seasons, through change, through the quiet unfolding of who I'm becoming.
June was my nan, the artist who came before me. She showed me that creativity could be a way of life and this name is my way of carrying a piece of her forward.
Together, Via June is a reflection of both the path I've walked and the one still unfolding.
Thank you for twelve years of Zilvi. It has been a privilege.
Shar.. she's yours.
Now, if you'll stay with me, I'd love to begin again.
